From The Diamond Gallery to the RunwayAsim Jofa’s journey into fashion began not with a sketch pad, but with diamonds. Following in the footsteps of his family’s legacy as jewellers, he established The Diamond Gallery — one of Pakistan’s most exclusive diamond boutiques. But his creative instincts demanded a wider canvas. Certified in design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London, Asim launched his fashion label in 2009. His approach was revolutionary — he reimagined Pakistani lawn not as basic summer fabric but as a vehicle for luxury. Bold embroidery, rich fabrics, regal silhouettes. The jeweller’s eye for detail transformed into the designer’s signature language. In 2012 he was honoured with the IAFA International Asian Fashion Award for Best Designer Brand and the Collection of the Year at the Pakistan Fashion Awards — cementing his position as one of Pakistan’s most exciting fashion voices.
