Post 30th September 2021 – Let’s Encrypt Certificate issue has created Havoc on many websites. Here I have a solution for you if you have an Account with Cloudflare to solve this problem for atleast 15 years!!
The root certificate expired leading to issues – as explained in this article here leading to this error : cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired.
I have an easy solution for you.
- Step One sign in to your cloud flare account and visit the SSL tab.
- Create an Origin Certificate as shown in the screenshot below :
3. Disable or revoke the free let’s encrypt certificate on your host (if your host allows you to do)
4. Install the Free Certificate issued by Cloudflare – Valid for 15 Years in some cases.
Note : This solution will work only if you are allowed to install SSL using certificate and private keys on your host and you have Cloudflare free plan.
